Phase One: Inquiry

Every project begins with our friendly sales and design team reaching out to personally connect with you. During our initial inquiry call, we take the time to learn more about your unique vision and carefully answer any questions you may have regarding budget, timelines, next steps, and other important details to ensure a smooth and successful project.

Phase Two: Consultation

Our in-person consultation is all about getting to know you personally and understanding your unique vision for your home. During this meeting, we carefully review the full scope of work and openly discuss any potential challenges or obstacles that might arise throughout the course of your project. We also take preliminary measurements, capture detailed photographs, and spend time talking through your priorities to ensure everything aligns perfectly with your goals.

Phase Three: Proposal & Contract

Our proposals are thoughtfully composed with your overall vision in mind, which our team carefully collaborates on by incorporating personalized options tailored specifically for each individual project. We present our preliminary design along with a detailed construction budget and, when applicable, fixed costs depending on the nature and requirements of the project. Before moving forward, we thoroughly review the scope of work, project goals, and outline the next steps to ensure everything is clear and aligned. Once all preliminary designs and budgets have been reviewed and approved, we will then prepare a comprehensive construction contract to officially begin your project.

Phase Six: Closeout & Warranty

The final phase of your home project involves a thorough closeout process to ensure every detail meets your expectations. We'll conduct a comprehensive walk-through with you, addressing any remaining touch-ups or adjustments. All project documentation, including warranties, maintenance tips, and service contacts, will be provided for your convenience.

At Choice Carpentry, we stand by the quality of our work. That’s why your project comes with a 2-year warranty covering workmanship. Phase Four: Design

We will carefully create detailed floor plans and layouts that include 3D views to help you better visualize the space. You will have the opportunity to select materials, finishes, and fixtures such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, wall treatments, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and any other additional materials that need to be chosen. While we collaborate on finalizing these design elements, our dedicated superintendents are simultaneously preparing your project schedule and sending regular project notifications to keep you informed about what to expect during each phase of the work being done in your home.

Phase Five: Construction

Our experienced superintendents and dedicated project managers work closely together with talented designers to ensure every project stays on schedule and within the agreed budget. When unexpected challenges come up, our designers provide thoughtful and creative solutions to keep things moving smoothly. Clients benefit from regular weekly updates that include detailed timelines, selections, change orders, progress photos, and much more. This integrated design-construction approach guarantees seamless, efficient, and collaborative management throughout every stage, from initial planning right through to final completion.
